The Bulldogs Baseball Academy was established in April 2017 in Lloydminster, AB, and has been devoted to molding young, dedicated athletes into elite ball players since inception. The goal of the Academy is to prepare Canadian athletes for competition at the collegiate and professional level.
President and Director of Player Development, Josh Herback-South, is committed to providing the most current training with a kinesthetic and bio-mechanical approach, and is certified in Pitch Design and Youth Baseball Development by Driveline Baseball. Although Herback-South was a pitcher, his knowledge is extensive in; hitting, base running, infield/outfield play and the mental side of the game. The Academy has brought on Assistant Director of Training, Dakota Wheatley, broadening the academy's ability to offer high performance training. Dakota is certified in Youth Baseball Development by Driveline Baseball and has a keen eye for the mechanics of an efficient swing.
